Thor has been turned into a big fat beer swilling oaf and Hulk isn"t the Hulk at all.
The whole idea behind the Hulk is that you get him angry and you don"t like him when he"s angry.
Instead they turned him into Shrek.
I didn"t understand what the point was about all the jokes about Captain America"s ass? it was completely unnecessary. It didn"t add anything to the movie.
The humour throughout the movie was misplaced and wrong.
The funniest line for me was when Nebula told Gamora, she had the choice between him or a tree. Other than that, the humour was pretty bad.
There are huge plot holes in the movie.
For instance, Thano"s now travels forward in time to get the infinity stones and fails, which means he never got them in the first place so no one could have died the first time round.
Secondly, Nebula kills her past self. So how is she still alive in the future?
These weren"t the only one"s too. There were quite a lot of holes that simply didn"t flow on from Infinity War.
The whole thing with the time travel made a mess of the whole movie.
Look, it"s not a bad movie, per say, but after Infinity War, it had a lot to live up to.
Did it do it?
No.
The two best characters in Thor and Hulk especially after Thor Ragnarok were ruined for absolutely no reason whatsoever.
I kept hoping that sooner or later they would go back to their old selves, but that never happened.
The final fight scene was a mess. The fight scene in Infinity War was so much better, with so much action going on all over the field, but it didn"t feel disjointed, it flowed from scene to scene.
In Endgame the final fight scene felt like it was thrown together without any thought whatsoever.
Then the whole feminist fight scene at the end just summed up that Disney put more thought into their agenda pushing then the actual plot, it didn"t add anything to the movie, if anything, it just looked out of place and silly.
It"s a real shame, because I really want to love this movie, especially after Infinity War, but am really struggling because there was so much of it that was completely pointless.
It"s an end of an era, especially after the passing of the late, great Stan Lee.
I feel this movie could have had so much more.
A good movie, but not the ending the Avengers series deserved.
